Curved Fence in Snow, Loudoun County
Fences are supposed to be straight, right? I like it when I find them otherwise.
I'd driven by this stretch of road many times in different seasons and never noticed the graceful curve of the fence, seemingly meandering through the pasture. The starkness of the snow cover revealed it clearly, however, and made me stop and ask myself, "why?" The reason for the curve was not clear at all, except that the farmer perhaps was an artist.
